Welcome to OmniTranscript. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OmniTranscript website and the TikTok transcript generator and related tools we provide (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

OmniTranscript lets you submit a public TikTok video link and receive an automatically generated, timestamped text transcript, which you can copy or export as TXT, SRT or WebVTT files. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Submit content you do not have the right to transcribe, or that infringes any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• Transcribe private, age-restricted, or non-public videos, or content obtained without authorization;
• Use the Service to create transcripts for unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing purposes;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• Use automated means to access the Service in a way that places an unreasonable load on our systems or circumvents usage controls.

4. Your content and responsibility

You are solely responsible for the links you submit and for how you use the transcripts you generate. You confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions for any video you transcribe, and that your use complies with TikTok's terms and all applicable laws. You retain ownership of the transcripts you generate; we claim no ownership over them.

5. Accuracy

Transcripts are produced by automated speech recognition and may contain errors. While accuracy is typically high, we do not guarantee that any transcript is complete or error-free, and you should review transcripts before relying on them.

6. Accounts and paid plans

Some features may require an account (for example, via Google sign-in) or a paid subscription. If you purchase a paid plan, billing is handled by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and any refund terms are described at the point of purchase.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, logos, and software, is owned by OmniTranscript and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding. OmniTranscript is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. "TikTok" is a trademark of its respective owner.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (such as TikTok for source content, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection, and Stripe for payments). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies, which we do not control.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OmniTranscript and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OmniTranscript from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction over the operator of the Service.
